Christian and Kate's Elora Gorge Engagement Session
By Kitchener wedding photographer Amy Taylor
When I first met with Christian and Kate, they weren't sold on the whole idea of having an engagement session. When I explained why they are such a great idea and started listing off places that we could go for the session, they changed their minds! As it turns out, one of my favourite locations the Elora Gorge, is also one of their favourite places to spend the summer. If you have been to the gorge then you know why, the tranquility and the sound of thje flowing river is enough to relax anyone. If you are looking for more of an adventure you can also rent a tube and tube down the river!
After our time in the gorge, we had planned on walking around the adorable town of Elora. Much to my surprise most of the cute parts of town are now under construction to build the amazing new wedding venue the Elora Mill. If you are planning a 2018/2019 wedding and you are a lover of cute old towns and epic portrait locations for wedding photography, then you must check this place out. I would absolutely love to photograph a wedding there, I am all about this town!
Once I got over the heartbreak of the town being under construction, I was able to put my location scouting goggles back on and find us some other cute spots for photos, you seriously can't go wrong taking photos anywhere in Elora, it is a photographer's dream location.
Here are some of my favourites from the evening I spent with Christian and Kate! I can't wait for their brunch wedding this summer!
