As a Kitchener wedding photographer I am always looking for amazing locations for engagement sessions. Location hunting is actually one of my favourite parts of the job. Epic loves deserve amazing locations to show them off. Wedding days are so regimented and on such a tight timeline that there often isn't a good opportunity to go somewhere extra special for portraits. So when it comes time to plan the engagement session, I always like to make sure that we go somewhere special.
Katherine and Scott decided on Rock Glen, near Arkona Ontario. Typically it is an overcrowded location with people flocking to the waterfalls in the summer months, but we got super lucky and got it all to ourselves for a while. Typically we would then hike out to the river, but with the excessive rain we have had the river was so high it didn't work as a location anymore. We raced against the sunset to find an alternative location and settled on a beautiful orchard with some gorgeous lighting, we really couldn't have asked for things to turn out better! I am so happy with how they turned out!
