Big families these days are becoming fewer and further between. Life is busy, kids are expensive and raising tiny humans is hard. When I first found out that this would be the McLellan's fourth baby, I was frankly a little bit afraid of how the sibling portion of the session would go, kids are unpredictable and you just never know, sometimes I struggle with one sibling, and now we would be doing 3?!?!? I don't think at the time I asked about the gender of the siblings, assuming it would be a mix of both, but deep down I thought to myself, how amazing would it be if they were all girls and I could dress them up in pretty dresses for their sibling shots.
When my doorbell rang that day and I opened the door, there were 4 amazing little girls and their mama and great aunt (helper for the day). Not only did my dream come true, but mom had woken them all up early to do their hair all pretty for their session. I was thinking to myself how did I get so lucky to get amazing clients like this?
When we set up for the sibling shots I couldn't have been more surprised, not only were these girls beautiful, but they were so well behaved and took excellent posing direction. Most adults aren't great with posing directions but these girls were fabulous.
At the end of our session I was a little bit sad that they would be leaving, not only were these gals (all four of them, baby sister too) perfect little models, but I just had so much fun being around them.
It was after this session that I understood how having a large family could bring you that much more joy.
Anyways, you guys are here to see photos, so here are some favs from the sessions, so you can see more than just what gets facebooked or instagrammed.
