Dundas Peak Engagement Session

Anyone who know’s me knows how much I love an epic location for my sessions! When Janny, Tommy and I were planning their engagement session, we settled on Dundas Peak, in Dundas Ontario. If you haven’t been here before, you need to get in your car and go! The views just do not disappoint! The walk is definitely an uphill one, but short enough, with gorgeous views of Tew’s Falls and the escarpment. Dundas Peak is definitely a favourite location for engagement sessions! If you are planning on checking this beautiful location out, I suggest checking their website first http://conservationhamilton.ca/spencer-gorgewebsters-falls/

Janny and Tommy brought their little fur baby Cookie with them for their engagement shoot! When people bring their dogs for sessions, my heart lights up with excitement, dogs are most definitely a part of the family! Someone had to hold Cookie to make sure she didn’t fall over the cliff, luckily that was me! I can still feel her little trembles from being held by a stranger, and not getting to be with her people the whole time. There is something about little dogs and anxiety I think! I know my pup, Oakley, has awful anxiety now.

I have had the pleasure of photographing engagements at Dundas Peak on numerous occasions. This one was one of my absolute favourite times. The wind was absolutely incredible, which made for a chilly engagement session, but also really breathes life into the images. When the sun peaked out from behind the clouds and drenched us in golden sunlight I think my heart skipped! Fall colours + wind + golden light = perfection! Check it out!
